Secondary DNS
We can provide secondary DNS for an unlimited number of domains for £10.00 + VAT per year.
Most customers will not need to purchase this service. We provide secondary DNS free of charge for all domains registered through us. Additionally we are happy to provide secondary DNS free of charge for any server customers, whether it's a dedicated, virtual, or co-located server. This is automatically configured when we are providing the primary DNS. If you are running your own primary, please get in touch so we can enable secondary DNS.
Fallback MX
We can provide fallback MX for £10.00 + VAT per year, for any number of domains. This is suitable for customers who run their own mail server, and will allow our servers to receive and store mail for your domains if your server is offline for any reason.
Where the primary mail server is on a Mythic Beasts dedicated or virtual server, we will provide fallback MX free of charge. Please get in touch if you wish to enable this.
Please note that this service is not needed for domains hosted on our hosting accounts, as we provide multiple MX servers as standard.
